so here goes. i'm really nervous about sharing my poetry. but..i'll try. and i don't use capital letters a lot of the time. ;)

Singing a melody,

soft, sweet, and low.

Down through the ages,

through time we go.

First in the darkened caves,

fire for a light.

Ice floes crack and change,

turning around life.

Then around the totem pole,

we dance until we drop.

The Great Spirit our sure guide,

Failing us not.

Christopher Columbus

exploring from over-seas.

Then comes the Mayflower,

bringing Americans to-be.

Revolutionary and Civil War,

our country they shape.

When man steps onto the moon,

he a new millennial creates.

Here we are in the 21st century,

free to live an abundant life.

From down through the ages,

we have danced with time.
