King Tut

Was a mutt

With big floppy ears

And a large wiggling rear.

We hugged him til he cried

And kissed til he sighed,

We loved that mutt,

King Tut.

One day

He ran away

To a field way yonder

And oh, we did wonder

Where King Tut had went;

But he came back spent,

Stickers in his fur

And burrs.

We spanked,

Dad was a crank,

King Tut was a bad dog,

He crawled inside an old log

And hid until the coast cleared.

Wriggled out on his rear;

Ran to the cage

And stayed.
