things that make me happy:)

so i have this huge lump on the bottom of my foot, and it hurts to walk so i'm just sitting around and being a lazy cow in general. therefore, i am going to list off all my little happinesses, and i would absolutely love it if ya'll would do that to in the comment box below.

1. a beautiful sunshiny day that makes you feel like everything is alright.

2. blueberries and cream.

3. i got a pair of fuzzy cat face socks for my birthday last year, and i'm so glad fall is here so it's appropriate to wear them.

4. autumn of course. aaand all the hyyge that comes with autumn. is it any wonder that fall is my favorite season of the year?

5. pumpkin spice lattes. i hated pumpkin anything for a long time. then i went to dunkins for the first time and decided to try their special, which is a mocha caramel pumpkin mixture latte and i fell in loooove. i'm still not fond of pumpkin cake though. maybe i'll have a cloud nine experience with that sometime.

6. volleyball. is. the. best. especially with my youth group;)

7. Queen Mab. my dog. she is a mix of english mastiff, rotweiler, jack russel, and blue healer. she is white with black spots on her eyes, and two black spots on her rump. don't get me wrong here, i still love my cats! but it was time for a dog. anyone have any good dog training tips?

8. hoodies!!!! big oversized hoodies where i can lose myself and forget about the rest of the world.

9. journals. i think i have 16 journals. i'm not sure on the exact count. but they are my best friends. i think i'm going to start keeping a diary again. the other day i read through the one and only diary i've ever kept and i kept dying with laughter over my general stupidity. so i'll keep one now so i have something to laugh over when i'm thirty.

10. coffee. what would i do without coffee? and coffee shops. those are the best places ever. i highly recommend a coffee shop once a wk. i go probably once a month but that is because i am broke.

11. my backpack makes me happy everytime i see it, which is only when i crawl underneath the sewing table to put something into the box where i keep my paints cause that's it's earthly home for right now. but it's floral and had white straps and makes me exceedingly happy that i bought it.

12. when i was in idaho for 5 mo., i went to charming charlie's once. and i got a watch and a purse. the purse is and ugly shade of purple with gold cat faces on it, but i adore that purse so it's not ugly to me. and the watch! it has a gold rimmed face with cream strap and the face has adventure written on it in gold font over a picture of flattened globe. i set it to mountain time zone and i haven't ever changed it because i needed a reminder of beautiful idaho.

13. thirteen is supposed to be an unlucky number but that is very fascinating. superstitions are very fascinating. i'm fond of superstitions. even if i don't believe in them.

14. all my wonderful writing friends. i found out a whole different world of writers. and i'm so glad i did. they inspire me to write better, and also reduce me to hoplessness because they are all so much better than me.

15. all my other friends who aren't writers, but may be painters, singers, hammer welding people ect.

16. my brother whom i miss very badly since he gallivanted to texas to help with the corn harvest. i hope he's having a good time, though.

17. my mom. my best friend. the one i look up to the most. i hope she lives very very long so i don't ever have to live a second without her.

18. my dad. i think i have the best relationship with him. he has so much good advice and we tend to gravitate towards similar objects and subjects of interest. i am a chip off the old block, you could say.

19. all my wonderful six siblings. my three sisters and my three brothers. i would shrivel up and die if i didn't have you to laugh with.

20. the grand finale. if Jesus had never come here, none of this would be, to quote a song.
